Finding a problem
"Fall in love with the problem, not the solution"
While brainstorming ideas on Canada's well-being issues, these 8 teenagers came across a variety of issues threatening the well-being of Canadians. After much thought, the team wanted to tackle an issue that was not only affecting Canadians, but one that was affecting the whole world. As a result, the global issue of e-waste presented itself and the team decided they needed to take action.
Step 2
Finding a solution
With the incredible generators on the team, the group of 8 found many solutions to this problem relatively quickly; however, the struggle came down to logistics. After running numbers, calling many businesses, mentors, and experienced professionals, they got the information they needed and began working out the bumps in their plans.
While doing so, they began to see their plan fall perfectly into place, leaving what we now all know as CanCycle.
